This metric evaluates whether the database mints guaranteed resolvable identifiers for at least some of its content, as defined by FAIRsharing and aligned with the EOSC PID Policy. In FAIRsharing, this corresponds to identifier schema records characterised as guaranteeing resolvability according to this definition. Expected input is the DOI or URL of the record under evaluation.

**Why should we measure it?**

Resolvable identifiers enable users and machines to retrieve information about the identified object through predictable identifier resolution behaviour. Guaranteed resolvability makes identifiers practically useful for accessing and linking digital resources.

One small observation after seeing all three together. The phrase *"as defined by FAIRsharing and aligned with the EOSC PID Policy"* is repeated identically in each metric. I think that's appropriate because each metric should be self-contained. However, if the benchmark becomes substantially larger, you might consider introducing a short introductory note explaining the FAIRsharing identifier definition once, then using a shorter phrase such as *"according to the FAIRsharing identifier definition"* within each metric. For now, though, I would keep the repetition because it makes each metric independently understandable."""^^xsd:string ;
